Hi,

It doesn't need calibration with a cap.  The best way to do it is to put it
on a completely white piece of paper, then measure the colour.  Then after
that, measure what you want to.

See if that improves it.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] How to reset or calibrate Colorino colour detector

Hi all

I have a quite old Colorino talking colour and light detector that is flaky
at its job of detecting the right colour.  I think it could do with a reset
or calibrating.  I used to have a different colour detector that you put the
cap over the detector and pressed a button to calibrate, but this much
smaller one doesn't seem to have such a button and it certainly doesn't have
a cap.  Can it be done and if so, how?

Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers

Barry
