If you right click on a folder, then select "Properties" it
will tell you size of the folder and number of files in it.

folder?

Hello, Marie

I don't know of any Windows facility for obtaining the size
of folders.

However, I use a free utility called folders report from
nirsoft.

The url is:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/index.html

Do a search for foldersreport.

I sure knew how to do this,.. but can't remember now I need
it. The folder
in question contains 151 mp3 files I want to save on cds and
would like to
know how many I need.
I played about in the view menu, checked details and size
but this only
gives me the size of individual files. I want to know how
much data is in
the entire folder.
I plan to use Nero 7 express, use Jaws 9 and Win Xp.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers now,
Marie`
