[access-uk] Re: Hotels for the blind

The hotel I'm referring to Andy is near Fort William which is a long trot mate. But I'm sure they do as they have lovely grounds, and it's all on the ground-floor. It's an absolutely beautiful place, and we've been there for a few days for the last two years. Trouble is, now my son is almost 17, he's vowed not to go back next year as he isn't going anywhere with mum and dad any more, and I'm not leaving him here on his own. So until I can persuade some poor sod to take him on for a few days, or he leaves the family nest - which he isn't likely to do because he knows where he's well off - it looks like we've had it. (smile).

Seriously, if you or anyone else wants the details, I can highly recommend the place.

Jackie

Hi Jackie Well I might have to take you up on that on, as long as they except guide dogs.

Well Andy, the old RNIB one closed down, but I think some people have used the Henderson Hotel, though I can't speak from personal experience about it. I'm sure they used to advertise in New Beacon or NB as it's daftly named these days.

If you ever work your way north to Scotland, I could recommend a cracking hotel that isn't specifically for blind people, but which is so blind friendly to get round it's sensational. (smile).
