From what George says it sounds as though this will also work in 2010. Peter Yes, but how do I highlight it please. I move the PC cursor to the location, root the JAWS cursor to that position and press delete. Whether I highlight first (numpad slash to simulate left mouse click) or without seems to make no difference the footnote remains.
