Here is an example of BBC streams, this posted to the UK Radio Listeners
list ages ago, so far as I am aware, it contains just about all the links
for the BBC all you need do is paste them into the appropriate place in
WinAmp and press enter, the stream should start in about ten seconds.
If you want to record the stream, using Total Recorder, open the file menu,
go down to open url, paste in the link and enter. You should then be
presented with a button for record, press enter and recording should then be
made in background mode, i.e you won't hear the stream. You can decide to
play instead, or start recording then start play. Note if you start play,
then stop it, restarting takes up at the point where you stopped play but
looking at the controls on the screen you can advance the play, if it hits
the point at which recording is in progress, it goes back to start. Finally,
when you want to stop recording, press stop, you are then invited to save or
ignore the download, Total Recorder in this instance will save the file in
whatever default format you've set which, of course, can be changed.
Here is the list, all links as of now, seem to work but it may give you a
guide as to the format of link you need for WinAmp.
