Richard, this echoes a misprint I once read in the New Beacon, as it was before
it became NB, then NBG (no bloody good). In one of the announcements in the
seventies, pointing to a survey: “Please contact Hampshire County Council of
you would like this survey in Braille or large pint”. At the time, I thought
that all pints were by definition the same size, that being pint-sized.
