Just because you got an email from someone, doesn't
necessarily mean it came from them.
Spoofing an email address is the easiest thing in the
world to do.
You might be wondering "so how did they get my address"?
The easiest thing is to get the sender to check their
sent mail, and change their password.
The most important thing is to let them know it happened,
and ensure they know to not respond to ANY emails asking
them to "confirm" their password or verify their account.

Am I correct in thinking that their emails are almost
certainly hacked? Is there a web site which can give
information as to whether your email has been hacked and
what, now, should they do?
Does it follow that my email is hacked? I haven't
received any reports from anyone that they have received
such emails from myself.
