Actually, I feel George is being a bit heavy handed about this. It’s not
advertising really, until it costs money. It’s not as if you’re asking users
to pay for, or subscribe to anything.
But what do I know, I’m not the moderator, but it is about access tech.

Ian: It's primarily related to talking newspaper, blogs and audio services for
people with sight loss.
However, I found that saying that was putting potential testers off because
they "don't subscribe" to a talking newspaper.
It's not about the content so much as the ease of use and bugs you might find.
Hopefully it's a very easy and user friendly skill - underneath, it's
incredibly complex, using 7 web services to pull the right data together.
How well it works, or doesn't, is for potential testers to decide!

Hello all, and Happy New Year.
Is anyone has got an Alexa device like an Echo, Dot, etc, would you mind
helping beta test it a bit over the weekend?
All I need is for you to email me OFF-LIST with the email address associated
with the Amazon account that your Alexa devices is registered.
This is because it's a closed test, so not in the skill store yet. It doesn't
ask for any account linking or personal information.
I will be sending out test invites some time tomorrow once I have a reasonable
size group, hopefully by tomorrow evening.
