Thanks Catherine for the explanation; guess I haven't really ever come
across such websites, or if I have, like I said, have found a relevant link
to open up the other pages -

| Hi Andy,
|
| I haven't got a site in mind at the moment, but I know I have found this
| helpful in the past.
|
| A JAWS search would only search the text of the currently viewed page.
And
| some sites, annoying though it is, don't have a search box or very
helpfully
| named links. Basically I find this useful for relatively small but pretty
| crucial (in terms of specific information that can't be found elsewhere)
| sites; I don't know - sites that sell batteries for specific laptops
(though
| of course they should have a search box); or sites that have info on some
| specific topic that not many others do but which don't make their site
very
| easy to use. Also sites which just seem pretty difficult to use to start
| with, and which I can't be bothered to hunt around on; so I use google to
| find the specific info I'm after - it's another tool in the box.
|
| Like I say I can't think of an example off the top of my head but I know
| I've used it in the past and it's pretty damn handy.
|
| Catherine
