I was looking up some info on Google Maps and came across the following article
from earlier this month about an interesting update to walking directions for
Google Maps for VI users:

I think it's only available in the US at present but hopefully it will come to
the UK soon - I've been and checked my Google Maps app on IOS and the setting
isn't there as yet.
