Hi Chris, This is slightly different if you access IMAP on a phone. The phone will ask if you want to delete from the phone only, or from the phone and server. You can decide at that time. All the best Steve -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Hallsworth Sent: Wednesday 31 December 2008 18:27 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: GoodSync Backup and Syncronise Files This is sort of correct. I forgot to mention that deleting mail doesn't necessarily mean it's deleted off the server; mail clients by default mark messages for deletion, so the next time the client connects to the server the message(s) will be deleted during the synchronization process. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: CH9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2008 6:20 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: GoodSync Backup and Syncronise Files > OK, so you then say you want to download X headers ... and presumably get > options later about deleting mail on server etc. Please tell me if this > is > so. > > -- > Carol > carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2008 5:53 PM > Subject: [access-uk] Re: GoodSync Backup and Syncronise Files > > >> Googlemail now works with Imap.
