Further to this thread, I had ghost 9 installed on my computer yesterday. The install was straightforward, although it was performed by a sighted person. However, I suspect it was easy enough for a VI person to do themselves. The backup process is very simple, just go to tools/create image and = follow the wizard. As far as I can determine, it is very accessible with jaws. It took only 3 minutes to make an image of my 4.9 Gb of system files and application and data I hold on my C partition, compressing it to 3.5 Gb. I also made an image direct to DVD, which took 9 minutes. I have not as yet done a restore, on the basis that if it isn=92t = broken, don=92t fix it. But it entails starting the computer with the ghost disc = in the cd or DVD drive. However, the restore doesn=92t seem to be done in windows, so this part is going to have to be done by a sighted person. In all I cant recommend ghost 9 highly enough, and the relief at finally getting my new XP system backed up is wonderful. I hope this helps some others take the plunge. p.s. ghost 9 comes with ghost 2003 for windows 98 users. I paid 44 = pounds for my copy from DABS.
