Hi Barry, I am not sure, it should be if it is installed on your system.
However, you can just change the search provider in your Internet browser
program and leave Bing on the system.

I was also interested in this answer, Amro.  I've just gone into add and
remove, but bing isn't in there.

Cheers

Barry

You can start with uninstalling Bing from your system by going into
add/remove programs and follow the normal steps. Next you can change the
default search engine in your browser to Google or whatever search engine you
prefer. Search on google for how to do this but don’t forget to mention what
Internet browser program you use.

Hi all,

This maybe have been asked before but here goes.

I have Google as my search/home page and I'm happy with that but whenever I
try to bring up a site using alt D or alt O I seem to get Bing search
although I just want to go directly to the www page or whatever I'm looking
for rather than a search for it.

Basically I type the url to try get in to it directly and Bing comes and
it's a search, not what I want at all.

I wonder if getting rid of Bing will sort this and if so how to get rid of
that?

Best,

Tony Sweeney
