Hi Clive,

Holux are the best receivers by far in my view. They get a fix quickest,
they hang onto it for grim death, and you can charge them via a USB port, as
well as via the mains.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Re: GPS software

Hello demon,

Landmarks is in the tools folder on my phone. When I open the program I am
told there are no landmarks. I press soft key 1, options, and the first one
is new landmark which has a submenu. I arrow right and there are two
options, current position and enter manually. Actually, I have now found
another GPS-related program above this one in the tools folder called
Positioning. I open this and there are two items: Bluetooth GPS and
Network-Based Positioning. I have just selected each item and it looks like
they can be enabled and disabled, so you can choose which connection to use.

I would think both need a GPS receiver.

I don't currently have a GPS receiver connected to my phone but may get one
soon. Any recommendations for which one to use would be most welcome.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
