Hi Ron,

I?ve got the GPS app, namely TomTom which works fine on the IPhone, but the
IPad doesn?t have a GPS receiver built in so it needs an external one, so I
wondered if any one on the list had used one.

Thanks.

Subject: [access-uk] GPS for IPad 2

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good GPS receiver which can be used in conjunction
with the IPad 2? When I bought it I just assumed it would have one similar
to the IPhone.

Thanks.

Hi,

it's very good and responsive if you need to know where you are at any given
time or to monitor where you are. It's not a fully blown GPS system like
Trekker and is no good for guiding you routes to places or providing you
with points of interest.

I am tending to use it a lot these days.

Does anyone use the GPS app Ariadne for the iPhone and if so how good is it.
It is about £4 - not a lot - but enough to waste.

Thanks

Brian
