Our friends in the Braillists Foundation have asked that we share the
following message with our subscribers:
Thursday 8PM GMT: Mindfulness session on Zoom
Friday 6PM GMT: Stay Safe Stay Connected call-in on Zoom
Many thanks to everyone who joined us on our first COVID-19 conference call
last Friday. Twenty-five people from all around the world joined us to
discuss the specific needs of the blind and VI community during the pandemic.
We'll run another call this Friday at 6PM London time.
As a result of the first call, we're delighted to announce that we're now in
a position to offer a free online group focussing on fostering resilience and
responding mindfully to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Laurent, a registered counselling psychologist, will be running the sessions
every Thursday at 8PM UK time. The first session will take place this
Thursday, the 26th of March.
The sessions are free to join, will last around an hour, and are run in the
same Zoom meeting room as the Braillists conference calls. The course will
focus on strategies to deal effectively with anxieties and difficulties you
might be feeling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

(recommended) or by telephone.
