The below message was sent by Chris Miles to my email address rather than to the list by mistake. So here it is:-

    Hi John,
To see attachments when using Thunderbird:-
Press Alt plus M for new message followed by H
This will display attachments within a message.
All you need to do is to tab to the attachment - then press right arrow to either open or save the attachment or detach attachment, whereby you will be able to save it to a different location, etc.
** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-
** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]
** If this link doesn't work then send a message to:
** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
** and in the Subject line type
** unsubscribe
** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the
** immediately-following link:-
** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]
** or send a message, to
** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
