Hi Mama and Nancy,
In your mail client you want to edit your gMail account settings.
Where you would normally put your username just put recent followed by a
colon on the beginning of the line right up against your username.
Mine for example, looks like:

Recent:joncpierson@xxxxxxxxx

Then save the settings and your messages will come back to you.
I have seen folks put this in the email address field, so make sure you are
editing your username.

Jon

Have you ever had a technical issue with JFW that went unanswered? Or is
your pet peave that one bug from years ago which has just never been
squashed?

You won't see your messages because you are using a g-mail account. I know
this can be fixed, hopefully Jon, the person who knows how to fix this, will
chime in and give you directions.

Subject: [tek-time] not receiving my own posts

Hi everyone,
I am subscribed to several group lists. I have a gmail account and I'm using
windows xp, and outlook express with jaws 12. Normally as a subscriber, I
get a copy of any message I send to the list. I know my messages are being
sent and received because I get replies. But I'm not getting my original
posts. Can anybody shed some light here?
thanks,
Nancy Martin
