I was recommended the following free usenet server and it seems to work
fine. It's a bit slow sometimes but nothing drastic. It will also work
regardless of what isp you use to connect.

Does anyone know of/recommend any free newsgroup servers which allow you to
use a newsreader? There are some groups I want to read and my ISP doesn't
support newsgroups/have a server. I understand that google has a free
service but it doesn't support newsreaders...?
