It is available from http://free.grisoft.com
They seem to call it antivirus advisor now or something like that.

Given the low price of programs like Nod antivirus, I would advise your
friend to put his/her hand in pocket and buy something like NOD antivirus.

If the person has a number of machines, a program like f-secure could be
considered which I think can be installed on more than 1 PC.

AVG is ok but I find it can't always remove viruses.

Subject: [access-uk] Free anti virus recommendation

Hi everyone,
A bit cheeky of me to ask this on a VI list so apologies. I'm looking for a
free anti virus for a friend of mine who's fully sighted so accessibility
isn't a real issue here. I checked the AVG's site but they seem to have
dropped their free anti virus home edition... Could a kind person recommend
an alternative? My mate is a complete computer novice so an install and
forget sort of program will be preferable.

Any advice would be most welcomed.

Amro
