Hi Peter,
I've seen two copies of the message arrive on the list. However, I don't
use the type of cane with which you need help, so can't help with your
actual issue, but I thought it best to let you know that your message had
got through to the list.
I hope that the list moderators can help you solve the issue regarding
knowing that your messages are reaching the list and that you manage to get
help with the cane.
