Thanks for that Tristram. I have just downloaded a trial version of Sound
Forge. It does seem quite accessible using JAWS. I have been able to construct
a few seconds long track along the lines of what I am trying to achieve. I have
selected single track mono as the format. However, the sound track is playing
through both head phones speakers. I am sure it is just my lack of knowledge
with the programme.
