can you confirm which fire stick you have and give an example of the command
you are giving to the remote when looking for something on prime.
it is also worth checking that the fire stick is up to date in the settings.

Hi Pette,
No that's not quite right re voice commands.
Basically I press and hold mircrophone button on the voice remote and I hear
the ding noise.
So then I say for instance "Open netflex or whatever app I desire but it
doesn't register what I say someone else tried but equally had no success.
I'm not sure re version unfortunately, however I only purchased it 2 weeks ago
therefore I imadgine it's the latest one.
Furthermore I obtained sighted assistence to set up the device and they updated
it at the time.
Finally, Amazon did a screen sharing session on monday as Voice view wasn't
reading apps correctly ie Netflix. So they just restarted Voice view could this
have anything to do why the voice feature ie lady A isn't working now. Amazon
didn't seem very knowable when it came to accessability for v.i
Any help would be great! as this is my very first fire stick.
