Hi Debbie,
In a nutshell,
1. Visit http://lite.facebook.com - this provides the balance between
functionality and accessibility.
2. If already logged in, click the logout link at the top.
3. If not already logged in, you'll see the page asking you to login, and
above that, a link to create a Facebook Account.
4. Fill in the form which appears. No captures on the first page. After
that, I'm sorry but I don't remember.
If you need any further help feel free to shout and I'll be happy to walk
you through it.
