HI George, good to hear from you again.

I am using Windows 7 SP1 with all patches.
Also Window-Eyes 9.2 for my screen reader.

Regards, John

Subject: [access-uk] Updating Malwarebytes

Hello list,

I have recently had a number of issues with a recent version of
Malwarebytes. The software had become inactivated and would not run in the
system tray as it used to do.

Despite help from the manufacturers I have been totally unable to activate
the product so that it will run silently in the system tray.

I have now gone back to the old, accessible version, 1.7.4, and it has
activated correctly.

Does anyone have any experience on updating the software, not the library,
to the latest version? I do update the library.

I know that the latest version is not accessible to screen readers, but as
Malwarebytes is something I just expect to run silently in the system tray I
am not too concerned about that. The odd occasion that there is action
required on it I can get sighted assistance.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, John
