Hi David,
First, a disclaimer: I do sell the Evo E10, but I am not answering as a sales
person.
I would say the headphones are louder than the Stream from what I remember, the
quality is certainly good and the volume doesn’t seem to be cripped.
The voices supplied are Brian and Amy.
I hope this helps.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Evo 10
Does anybody know what ivona voices are provided with the Evo 10 for ebook
reading and if possible could someone also feedback on the volume output
through earphones?
Is the volume as good as say the Victor reader Trek or Plextalk devices or
crippled on earphones like on some mobile phones ?
Thankfully Humanware increased the available volume on the Trek compared to
the Stream.
I am interested as my preferred eBook reading voice is ivona Brian. I presently
use Text to Mp3 conversion to achieve this but in theory if Ivona is supported
on the Evo I would not need to do the conversion but simply copy across as
text. This is also provided the device is loud enough for a hearing impaired
user to hear on.
