Hi Martin -

Yes this can be done.

Haven't done it for ages, so can't recall the steps off hand, but you will need to use the language tab from within Audio Extractor. Don't suppose this has change in recent updates of the software, so you will need to choose English under that language tab, and then go to the play button, and check it for the AD version, if AD isn't there, and you know it is on the disk, go back to the language tab, and select another version of English, and test it again with the play button. I have some DVDs that have 3 entries of English under the language tab , one being the standard movie, another being the producer's commentary, and the third being the one with AD, so just play around, and I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Good luck -

Andy

Subject: [access-uk] DVD Audio extractor and audio description?

Hi all.

Is it possible to rip a DVD with audio descript on it using audio extractor?
Or does it just take the top layer as it were, the un described video?
Thanks. If it is possible to rip audio description along with the original
audio, how does one go about it using DVD audio extractor from computer
application studios? Thanks.

Hope to hear from you soon.

From Martin.
