Hi Kev,
But I assume you could put rechargeable batteries in it and charge them using
an external source?
My only real question is, is it accessible to set the presets? Is it physical
buttons?
Thanks again.
All the best
Steve

Hi Steve.
I bought this one recently for taking to football matches:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008R6B62K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8
<https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008R6B62K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1>
&psc=1
Nicely fits in the pocket, easy to set and use the pre-sets for FM and DAB and
good reception and volume. On the downside, requires AA batteries rather than
being rechargeable and ear pieces are rubbish but easily replaced.
Regards.

Yep, I am sorry, I forgot, I thought it was using the headphone wire.
By the way, are there any other very small DAB radios about nowadays? I am
looking for one to listen to football with my dad down the pub, rather than
listening to Internet streams, because they are so far behind.
Thanks.

The Pure Move had a telescopic aerial which folded down and clicked into the
top of the unit when not in use.

Hi Phil,
I’m glad you managed to sort your problem with the radio out. I’ve never heard
of a radio which uses headphones as the aerial.

Hi Alexander
I feel really stupid. I think it may have been that we scanned without the
headphones plugged in as they are the aerial.
All seems well now and thank you for your input.

Hi Phil,
I don’t know what it was that I said in previous e-mails in this thread which
helped you, but I’m Glad you managed to retune the radio.
Out of interest what did you find the problem was, as the answer to that
question may persuade me to have another try at getting my Roberts Play 10
going again.

Hi Phil,
Sorry I haven’t got round to tuning the DAB part of my DAB/FM Roberts Play 10
today.
This is partly because my wife reminded me that when I last tried to tune it,
which was a year or so ago, I couldn’t get The DAB frequency for BBC WM and the
DAB station I did pick up, (sorry I can’t remember for certain which one it
was, although I think it may have been BBC Radio Leicester), had a very fuzzy
reception.
I found that when it comes to setting pre-sets, the process was quite
laborious. One of the reasons for that was that the buttons for the pre-sets
are quite small and therefore this makes setting the pre-sets quite time
consuming.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to help with your problem.

Thank you Alexander that would help. I live north of Birmingham in Wednesbury
and haven’t had this issue before.
Look forward to your findings.

Hi Phil,
I’ll start by saying that I haven’t had the issues you describe, however, as
I’ve said on another thread either on this or another list, I do have a Roberts
play 10, which I’ve not used that much, so as I’m in South Birmingham, I could
try to tune to BBC WM at some point on Monday and see if I can pick it up if
that would help you.

Subject: [access-uk] DAB tuning
Hi
I have had a Roberts DAB/FM radio for approximately three years.
Until recently it has been fine but suddenly I cannot get my local BBC WM
station on DAB. I can get BBC Derby which I previously could not. I thought I
was on the West Midlands/Birmingham platform. I cannot now get Smooth Country
either.
Has anyone else had similar issues?
Regards.
Phil
