Hi,
I have a Samsung TV, and I am using freeview, and it gives me all that I need
for voice output. When I was looking around for a Smart TV the Panasonic was
good, but I am now told that there are many more Smart Tvs that have voice on
them. So all I can recommend is to go and try some at a local dealership.

Hi
I’m possibly in the market for a speech friendly TV. Currently I’m using the
TVonics box but with an imminent view to Southern Ireland and a change to Sky
I’m wondering which TV might offer any help. Am I right in believing that the
Sky new box doesn’t voice which channel you’re listening to? Assuming I’m
going to connect the Sky box to an HDMI channel, I’ll be totally dependent on
what the Sky Box offers by way of speech.
Is there any point in buying a TV like the Sony Bravia or a Samsung if this
is the case as their speech facilities may not help much but to find the hdmi
channel? In this case a standard TV with HDMI input is all I would require.
If I wanted to use the smart facilities on the Bravia etc. can this be set up
with Android and its voice? Would this then allow it to be like a speaking
tablet? Finally, would the Bravia’s speech system making accessing the Smart
section with Android speech possible?
