Hi

I have several external usb hard rives. I have just had to
format and copy the contents of one of the drives back over
from the back up drive. If I connect the drives via a usb
hub and try to copy the files that way it takes 3 or 4 times
longer but if I connect the drives directly into the
netbook, it's far quicker. What is the reason for this? I
was under the impression that the usb hubs were all usb 2
compatible. Is there a way to check this?

Apart from removing the drives via the safely remove
hardware application, is there another way to disconnect
hard drives?

Regards

Adrien
