Aha - ok - so are we saying that there isn't a searchable catalogue of Learning And Skills titles? Pretty poor to say the least...or does revealweb search the Learning And Skills catalogue?

Hi, sorry to but-in---but, if you find out how to access a list of the educational stuff, please can you let me know as I'm trying desperately to find out too? Thanks, Christine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Iain Lackie" <ilackie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 07, 2007 8:43 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Counselling LiteratureThis isn't strictly true. The learning & Skills library is separate frombutborrowable by members of the Talking Book library. All Learning & Skills books are now Daisy books. I look forward to the day when Learning &Skillstitles are incorporated into the online Talking Book catalogue. Indeed I look forward to the day when the much vaunted merged library gives us one merged catalogue. In any case I suggest you phone/e-mail RNIB and ask them.Searching the revealweb database for Carl Rogers comes up with some usefullooking results: http://www.revealweb.org.uk/In the meantime there's quite a lot of basic info online about Carl Rogersand humanistic counselling. I know it's not the same as set books butI'vefound it's always helpful. There's wikipedia, and doing a google for CarlRogers comes up with a lot of stuff, most looks pretty basic, some lookstogo into more depth. There's an interesting sounding book I heard an interview on due to be published in early September Howard Kirschenbaum "The Life And Work OfCarlRogers" which I'll be buying/scanning. Hope this helps, Catherine ---- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Logue" <andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 06, 2007 11:18 PM Subject: [access-uk] Counselling Literature > Hi all. > > I have applied to undertake a counselling course at Jordanhill Collegein> Glasgow, which commences in five weeks time. > > I need to access books on tape or cd or similar medium very quickly. > > In particular, I need to get materials on Carl Rogers Client Centred > Counselling. > > Anyone know of the url for the RNIB's Student Library, or perhaps other > sources of support. > > Thanks. > > Best wishes. > > Andy > > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
