Hi Steve many thanks, I will give it a go. I set my recording to sterrio, and
for cd quality, I'm just experimenting a bit, because I'm keen to get going
with recording my own stuff. Thanks for your help. Best wishes from Lori.

  Hi Lori,

Make sure that you have set up the correct recording and playback sources in
Control Properties in Goldwave. Press F11 to get there.

Next, the manual is extremely accessible and good. Go into Goldwave, Alt-H
for Help, then arrow down to Manual. Take a look at Appendix B I think it is,
which is all the keyboard shortcuts for Goldwave. It is an excellent program. I
use it with Window-Eyes, but it works equally well with JAWS.

  All the best

  Steve

Hi I'm new to this list and am not sure if I've come to the right place. I
have a copy of the Gold Wave recording software for my windows xp laptop, and
am finding it isn't working properly. I want to be able to record internally
from my sound card, as well as use my mike to do voice overs of what I record.
I am using a Jaws demo, and was told Goldwave was very friendly for totally
blind users. I tried emailing the support centre of Goldwave.com but the site
isn't very friendly for getting around. Does anyone know about or use
Goldwave? Many thanks from Lori.
