Hi,

I often have a similar problem when copying from CDs. Sometimes ejecting
the disk/card and waiting a few seconds, then trying again works. Or try to
restart the computer. This happens on one computer but not on the other,
despite them having the same OS and setup.

Sometimes the files will copy, but then once everything is done Windows will
claim it can't copy the files. Just hit skip and all is still well. As a
test, try copying a standard text file (if your reader supports reading text
files as the Plextor PTX1 does) and reading that with the player to make
sure it can read the card OK.

Subject: [access-uk] Copying talking books to sd card

Hi all.

I hope somebody can help me with this one.  I recently bought a Dell laptop
with an in-built SD card reader.  My previous laptop didn't have a card
reader so I copied stuff over using a separate card reader without any
problem.  Yesterday I tried to copy a talking book on to the card, but after
selecting the files and pasting them on to the card the message item not
found came up.  It then proceeded to copy them over but when I put the card
into my Stream the book wasn't there.  Anyone know what's going on?
Incidentally, I'm using windows vista home.
Valerie Pickles.
