Hi, Eleanor.

Yes, the Concerto 2 - the new version of the Concerto, which British
Wireless for the Blind Fund launched in July - auto-tunes both its DAB and
FM stations. It gives audible feedback (tones and speech, I think) while
its doing it. It also has 5 presents for both DAB and FM.

As you probably know, it's also a CD, USB and SD card player and has a
built-in stereo cassette player and recorder.

I'm a little rusty on the detail, but we ran an item on it (an interview
with BWBF) in our various Infosound audio services back in July and August.
We only archive our material back a couple of months, so I'm afraid it's no
longer up on our web site ( <http://www.infosound.org.uk>
www.infosound.org.uk) to listen to; but you can phone BWBF on 01622 754757
or email them at <mailto:info@xxxxxxxxxxxx> info@xxxxxxxxxxxx for the full
spec.

Best wishes,

Rowland

Subject: [access-uk] Concherto Radio

I believe this radio is available from Wireless for the Blind. Does anyone
have one? Can you tell me if it is accessable in terms of locating
stations? Is it designed for the blind?

Eleanor
