Hi Mo

I was not looking for any offers, but thank you anyway. I'm sorry to think the
drive may be going bad. Thank you Mo and all for the replies so far.

hi chris. the hard drive needs replacing to be honest. corrupted drives and
bad sectors can cause this behaviour. for £65, i can replace the drive for
you with a better model. it could also be the power supply, but this is
unlikely.

cheers,

Mo.

Hi all

I am getting concerned about my Tvonix. It is frequently locking up,
especially during recording. It seems to be functional otherwise, but
realize it is getting old, about three years this summer, and also realize
this isn't normal behaviour.

I restored it recently but hasn't resolved the issue.

I haven't considered updating the firmware. Should I try this? See this only
started happening recently.

Thank you, any responses greatly appreciated.
