I find c cleaner is good, I often use that, both the registry cleaner and the
clean-up wizard without issue. This is free, but they do a paid version if you
want it. there is a more advanced Microsoft hard disc clean-up which someone
posted to here a bit ago. I have the exe file itself, but can't attach it here
I don't think.

Subject: [access-uk] Computer Optimizing
Hi
After previous bad experiences with optimising programs I now leave them well
alone. But my system running Windows 7 Professional seems to be running a
little slow. I’ve done a full clean up but no change. I seem to remember
hearing that Microsoft have an on-board optimising tool but if it exists I
cant’ find it. If I’m wrong and it doesn’t exist can anyone recommend an
application that works without leaving my system wrecked as some have in the
past please
Many thanks Roger
