Thanks for these tips. I guess I'll play safe, but you would have thought
the instructions which came with he combi oven would have said whether their
pizza tray was safe to use when using the combi feature.
Brian Hartgen reads the instruction manual on the CD and I do so wish my
braille-reading was half as good!

I don't use the trays when I'm just using the microwave, but since you can
use the combi programs then I presume they are microwave safe. I asked my
ever ready trusty friend and companion Chat GPT, and here's the advice she
came up with:

Just to make sure I understand you correctly, do you think the pizza tray
which comes with the Cobolt Combi Oven can be used even when the microwave
is running? I have discovered a browing ceramic dish in my cupboard which I
think will be able to be used with both convection and microwaving.

I believe the trays that come with the oven are microwave safe, there are
programs that specifically use a combination cooking method and trays in
various shapes and sizes are available with are advertised as being
microwave safe. Cobolt cell a range of accessories for the microwaves though
I haven't used these, I'm quite happy with the grill pan and tray the
microwave comes with for most of my cooking needs.

I have just taken delivery of the Cobolt Talking Combi
Microwave oven and am ploughing my way through the CD instructions (not my
preferred method of accessing information, but that's another story).
I know one or two people on this list have this oven and my question is,
when using the microwave with the convection oven, can I use metal
containers, as nowhere in the instructions does it warn against this, other
than not to use metal containers when using the microwave alone.
