The cache is basically a temporary storage area for an application while
it's running -- it can store things like temporary images downloaded from
the internet.

please can someone explain clear the cash?  sure if you don't want an app
you just get rid of it with the usual double tap on the app.  sorry if I
sound dumb but never heard of this.
