Yes it will because it uses the A7 64 bit processor. You do
not have to understand this but just know Alex will be
available because of that.

        The Alex voice only works on phone's and iPad's with
64-bit processors, so I'm afraid an iPad Mini original is
out as it has the A5 chip, the same processor powering the
iPhone 4S and iPod Touch 5th gen.
