Hi,
It really depends on what Email client he is using to be honest on the Android
phone.
If it is a Gmail Email address, he could be using the Gmail client.
It's hard to help without a bit more information.

This Email concerns all android users who use speech.
My friend in Australia Chris Graham has recently lost his best friend from
school.
This person had a Samsung phone.
Now I must stress neither of us know the exact model number.
At the moment he is using the built in Voice Assistant.
Please can anyone give me any useful tips for getting rid of Emails and
messages?
He has literally over 200 Emails and god knows how many messages.
I've never used Android so this is why I'm writing this Email.
