Hi Jim,
to hid the calendar pane in wlm:
1. Press alt+v to move to the name of the view tab on the ribbon.
2. tab lots of times till you get to the calendar pane button.
3. If the calendar pane is being displayed, then the button will be read as
calendar pane button pressed. If so, just press enter or spacebar, and the
button will no longer be pressed.
