Hi Amro,

Further to this, I've received a couple of replies on the Access-UK list, one from Dave Russell and the other from Tris. If you didn't see these, I can forward. I am waiting for further explanation on the actual technique of cleaning, mentioned by Tris, and haven't yet gone out and bought a cleaner as such.

I presume that you watch the list though and I haven't asked around elsewhere, so you will probably see the posts.

Let me know if you want me to write further.

Hi Carol and all,

Sorry I can't help but I'd be interested please in any responses you may get, particularly in regards to CD cleaner devices' that are out there. I tried to look for a CD cleaner the other day and I was overwhelmed with the number of different devices and the technology they use to clean CD's.

Cheers,
Amro

Subject: [access-uk] CD CLEANING

Hi all,

I remember this subject coming up some time back now ... but of course am not totally sure that I remember what was said. Did some people say they were able to clean CD's well in warm water? What about cleaners out there? Are there good and bad, or are they all "much of a muchness"!

I've often used an anti-static cloth (a Jay cloth immersed in a solution of water and fabric conditioner and then dried) for such cleaning. What I'm really asking is, what's the best method?
