Hi John -

How do I use Convenient OCR? I'm using JFW13, so when in the Tune Up window, what key stroke do I need to do this.

Thanks -

Andy

Hi Andy,

Which version of JAWS are you using? If 13 or 14, then use the convenient
OCR facility to check if there are any unidentified buttons/graphics etc
that you can then click on using the left mouse button. If you haven't got
v13 or 14, then just download the demo version from Freedom Scientific to
achieve this.

John.

Hi Ibrahim -

Can't get that to work. I'm on the Tune Up utilities screen, where it tells me my trial period has expired, and tells me of the 14 quid reduction offer,
and has the line:

buy the full version of Tune Up Utilities now...

Whatever I do with the cursors, I can't make a left mouse click [double or
single] work for me, nothing happens! -

Andy

Hi Andy.

If you go to the Buy Now text on screen with the JAWS cursor, route
JAWS cursor to PC then left mouse click, you should be taken to the offer
page to complete your purchase.

All the best and good luck, Ibrahim.

Hi all -

My trial period for the above has now expired, and I have a notice
on screen, telling me that there is an offer lasting just 10 hours, where I
can get £14 off the full price. I'm keen to go for this, but using the JFW
cursor, which I have to in order to read the Tune-up screens, I can't see
any actual button. There is a line that says "buy now" and "decide later"
and I've tried doing a mouse click on different words in those line to see
if it will take me to the website to buy a license. I'm pretty sure if I
just type the website address in to my browser, I'll be taken to the
website, but they won't recognise me that way, and I will lose this offer.

Anybody know how I can find and activate the buttons on a screen
that pops up like this one, when a trial period has or is coming to an end,
and there is an option to buy at a discount?

Thanks -

Andy
