Before I waste any time trying to do this, does anyone know if it is
possible to purchase Kindle books from
www.amazon.com
I am reading part two of a book which I purchased yesterday. As it is a
reference book, it doesn't matter in what order it is read. However, I want
to get hold of the first part of the book, and there is a link in the second
part that takes me to purchase it on Amazon in the US. But when I try to
purchase it, I am told I cannot buy it, and should return to the UK Kindle
store.
So has anyone successfully purchased books from another Kindle store and, if
so, how did you overcome the different country? I saw something about going
to my content and devices on Amazon, and changing the country to US, but I
am not keen on doing this in case it screws up my account or something
equally annoying. I am wondering if it is due to copyright law in other
countries?
