Don't know if this is related, but on my windows 7 boot on this
computer, I can't search after the first few tries in the same session
on amazon (I need to reload amazon completely.)

However, on the  windows XP and Linux boots on this selfsame computer
(Yes, I'm that geeky), it works fine.
