Okay I was only going by what I was told, however if audio description is
coming to BritBox that can only be a good thing. They also need to work on
accessibility issues with the app as the player screen is not very accessible
at the moment especially with voice-over, can’t say about android has haven’t
tested it. They will get there though :-) it’s a promising service.

have had AD added recently, even though they are old programmes.

At the present time there is no audio described programming on BritBox. I
understand that there are plans to introduce some audio described programs
however as a lot of the material on BritBox is vintage/older material, for
which audio description has not been recorded, I’m not sure what form and how
much programming will be audio described in the coming months if any.
