Hi Ibrahim - this sound then like it would work ok in separate rooms, or
upstairs to down stairs, in the case of music? -

  Hi Andy.

Its usually 10 metres but that's in the best conditions. I'd go no more than
9 or 9.5 metres away as you might experience breaking up sound if you go
further away.

  All the best, Ibrahim

    Hi Ibrahim -

I'm not sure what "set up properly" might look like, I've just set it up
now, pairing to my N82 for starters, so hope all will be well for Bluetooth
Speakers.

Have you any idea what kind of range I could hope for between the netbook
and speakers? -

      Hi Andy.

As long as you've your Bluetooth set up properly on your netbook, you
should be able to use these to play music from your laptop. I've Jabra
Bluetooth headphones and they work perfectly on my pc as a sound output for
music etc.

      All the best, Ibrahim

        Hi all -

I'm interested in the Nokia Bluetooth speakers: Nokia Bluetooth
Speakers MD-7W.

Obviously, these are made to work with Bluetooth mobiles, but I want to
know if they would also work with a netbook, over a Bluetooth connection.

Apparently, the Speakers have: Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, I don't know what
this means, and if it makes a difference in terms of connection to other
Bluetooth devices?

I'm hoping some knowledgeable lister can shed some light on this for me.

        Thanks -

        Andy
