Hi Carol,

It just gets better and better eh? Sorry to hear about the problems, but
it's definitely bye bye note takers for me.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] BRAILLE SENSE PROBLEM NOW WITH FACEBOOK

Hi all,

This is to let you know that, in the last few days, I've encountered a
problem in the FaceBook app, which was not present at the time the upgrade
came out, and that is that, when giving the backspace-q command to accept
friend requests and work through any outstanding, I'm getting a message
which says: "failed to load registration form". I currently have two FB
accounts and it's happening with both. I've also confirmed that it occurs
with Mike's Braille Sense.

As others have said, this technology lets us down time after time and takes
a good while to be fixed. The only "real plus"--and it's a big one for
me--is that writing and reading is so very much easier and faster! (Well,
writing certainly is, and reading has its advantages).

I've reported the error to Sight and Sound and, well, watch this space!
There was no promise (or even suggestion) given that they'd let us know when
fixed, so we just have to try the upgrades at our good pleasure!:)
