Hi Barry.

You of course have used and probably use another program on your computer that does the same thing, so Auslogics probably can't improve your system all that much. You have diskeeper to defragment your drive and so of course don't need another tool if your happy with it. As for registry entries, the 1.6 percent is only an estimate based on a scan, the defragmentation is only done upon reboot and results may varies. The registry cleaner only cleans what they call safe items, they had a technical professional work with them on the development process and particularly the cleaning and optimisation engines. If that isn't enough for you, they've received numerous reviews from zdnet, cnet and tucow downloads as well as a lot of media coverage both in their home country and abroad. Finally, if that all isn't enough to convince you to give it another whirl, there are some geeky tools for us tweakers such as a tweak manager, start-up and shutdown manager and service control centre. You can undo any changes done in the rescue centre they provide for most of the functions and if your so inclined review every change in the cleanup and optimisation utilities. A particularly handy feature is the optional creation of an html report which makes reading them a lot easier as they don't scroll off the screen and can be read by jaws.
