Hi Sam, You might also want to check out www.spoken-network.co.uk and www.booksonboard.com On the latter, I would highly recommend using the advanced search option, and unchecking the various ebook formats that it offers you. Just leave the bottom 2 checked which are mp3 and WMA to get spoken word content. On the results page, I would also click on the link that says list, otherwise the titles don't always show as links. Hope this helps, Ed From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Howie, Sam Sent: 16 June 2009 16:00 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Audio books Hi All I am after some information about getting audio books wither it be to download, purchase or loan I've tried my local library and the selection is non existent to say the least Thanks Sam Sam Howie Learning & Development Officer Performance & Information Systems Ground Floor Wheatley House 25 Cochrane Street Glasgow G1 1HL 0141 276 2258 mailto: <mailto:sam.howie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> sam.howie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx <http://www.glasgow.gov.uk> www.glasgow.gov.uk Glasgow - Proud Host City of the 2014 Commonwealth Games ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: This message is intended only for use of the addressee.
